WTAMU senior named student regent for A&M System
Cassidy Ann Daniel of Hereford, a senior political science major at West Texas A&M University, has been appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to serve a one-year term on The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.

Ground broken on $25.4 million student center at Texas A&M-Commerce
Ground was broken recently for the $25.4 million, 92,000-square-foot Sam Rayburn Student Center at Texas A&M University-Commerce. The facility, which will be a destination for shopping, dining, clubbing and studying, is expected to open in fall 2008.
