Last November, PharmaCare, the prescription drug plan manager for the A&M Care plans, announced plans to merge with Caremark. On Aug. 1, 2007, the official name of the merged company became CVS Caremark | Caremark, and the official logo is now:
Employees and retirees will begin seeing name changes in communication materials in August. While customer service phone numbers remain the same, customer service representatives will identify themselves as CVS Caremark | Caremark representatives.
Participants continuing in the A&M Care plans for the plan year beginning Sept. 1 can keep using their existing PharmaCare ID cards. PharmaCare will notify all network pharmacies that existing members will be using their current cards for some time to come.
